They say executive recruiters even measure a candidate’s ability to handle stress. One of the articles says the stress and pressure has increased significantly due to globalization, stiffer competition, government regulation and the weak economy. Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal’s Corporate section warned about the stress of our workplace environments, citing “Burnout” or “frankly burned out” for some early retirements.
